Hi Kendell! I'm Melonie and I live in NY. I love it here because while we live in a part of the state that is made up of beautiful countryside, we are only a short drive away from NYC and places like the Statue of Liberty, Yankees stadium, and some of the best shopping in the world:)

Hey there!!! I'm Wendi from Lehi, UT and we live in the middle of the moutnain range and it is very pretty, esp driving in the canyons in the fall!!! We don't have too many special dishes here, but LOVE to BBQ in the summer and also a fun thing we do in the neighborhood is Amish Bread where you make a start and then it will later make 3, you keep one and give 2 away and can keep it going... Most people here are pretty outdoor-sy kind of people and I am too!!! so always something going on.

I live in Minnesota! I like it here most of the time! The winter gets really long and I don't like that. We usually have a wet spring a beautiful summer and fall. There are too many mosquitos in the summer though, otherwise it is just beautiful! We have alot of lakes here in MN so we like to go swimming at the beaches, go boating and jet skiing! In the winter people like to ride snowmobile. My kids like to go sledding at the local sledding hills and go ice skating. Hockey is a pretty popular sport around here!Karen

Hi Kendall! My name is Jenni and I live in the bay area in Norhtern California about 45 mintues from San Francisco. I love it here because we have the beach one way and the moutnains another...the city offers so much culture, shopping, food and arts...it has a slice of everything! The weather is perfect in CA...never snows where I'm at but we're just a quick car ride from it in the winter. It stays sunny and warm in the summer, but we get to experience all four seasons throughout the year which is the best.

Hi. My name is Jen. I currently live in New Jersey, but my hometown of Niceville Florida is my favorite :) I was raised their and left in 2005. My husband is in the military. I love Florida compared to the other 40 states I have been in for one main reason. Destin Beaches. The white white sand and beautiful water/scenary. I miss home. There is so much to do in Destin and it is only 5 minutes from Niceville :)

Hi Kendall,Well I think you already know where we live because it is on the exact opposite end of the US from you. Plus your mom and I talk all the time. I'm Stacey. The boys and I live in Georgia and it is one awesome state. The state symbol is a Georgia Peach. The Georgia State flower is the Cherokee Rose. It's a very pretty little white flower. Here is a good recipe for Peach Cobbler that even your mom can do!!! LOL But you can do it also with some help with the oven.1 Can of sliced peaches with the juice1 Cup of Flour1 cup of sugar1 cup (whole stick) of melted butterMix the flour and sugar and melt the butter in the microwave. Add the peaches to the flour mixture and stir it up. Add the butter on top. Cook in the oven in a pyrex dish at 350 degrees. It's really yummy stuff and so easy to do !Enjoy

Hiya! I'm Tessa and I live in Northwest Missouri. It is a very rural state but we at least have a couple big cities and professional sports teams. I like the changing of seasons and small town feel.

We live in Illinois, and one of the main things I love about it is all of the wide open space that we have. Living in the midwest you get to experience all of the seasons, and there is alot of open space to be able to participate in a variety of seasonal sports - we have lots of lakes for boating and swimming, parks and trails for hiking and camping, and not to forget that we have the fabulous city of Chicago, the greatest city in the country.

I live in New York (for now). I love the fall here, with festivals, apple picking, pumpkin picking, brilliant colors...Also, we have "salt potatoes" which a local specialty to Syracuse. You can try them with small yellow or white new potatoes even though here we have special potatoes available only in summer. Here's what you do:Boil water WITH about 1/4 to 1/2c salt. When the water is boiling, add in about 9-12 potatoes. Cook until fork-tender. Drain, and eat! You can melt butter to dip them in, too. YUM!
